oh, kids have been doing that one since my day

Remember years ago when thebitchtrolls-Eddie got a bunch of us to give her unexplained shout-outs in our journals, which then caused a wave of perplexed "who the hell is this eddie person?" posts to pop up all through lj? Good times, good times. *g*

Anyhow, for the past week or so I have done nothing a'tall productive and have instead been gorging myself on watching DVDs. I have come away with the following:

- intense amusement at the way Ron Glass follows every statement with Dr. Hibbert-like ten-minute laughing jags on the Firefly extras. "I'm getting all teary-eyed. ahHAHAHAHAHHAHA! AHHAHAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAH!! ahahaahahAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAhahahahaHAHAHAHA!!"

- amazement at how *good* Richard Taylor of WETA looks in his pirate make-up and costume. rrrwwaorrrr!!

- complete adoration of 1st-season Buffy SMG, with her sweet face and her hips and her boobs and her little mod dresses! She's so cute I can barely take my eyes off her. So sad to think of the later bony version; I will never understand why people think that seeing that awful ladder of bone in a woman's chest is attractive.

- the new knowledge that if worn by my favourite Japanese actor Tadanobu Asano, yakuza tattoos are really goddamn hot.

Also, it has come to my attention that I need a new Wesley Wyndham-Pryce icon (Angel era), since I seem to have lost mine in the last big computer crash. Bugger. At least I have a brand-new icon of STAR, since onthecontrary reminded me how much I needed one. ahahahahahaah! AHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAAHHH!! ahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhahahaHAHAHAAHHAHH!!
