smithers, promote that worker!
Apr. 7th, 2003 08:15 amDear Co-Worker who thinks that calling me "*nsync" somehow upsets me:
If you check on your requisition and find its status clearly listed under "Pending Approval - Mr. Big", why do you feel the need to e-mail me and ask, "Is my requisition still pending approval from Mr. Big or has it been ordered yet?" Are you stupid and lazy, or are you simply dead set on making me pull out my hair in frustration?
No love,
Maggie
Now that that unpleasantness is over--some recs for Veal month.

smartlikejustin isn't precisely a Nick story, but I really like how he's written in it, kind of surly and belligerent in that way that he's smart, but lacks social skills, and he's played so well off the other characters.

jae_w, and who the fuck would really think to write Nick and Britney? but it's wonderful nonetheless, and he's this sunshiny presence and the *nsyncers are the dark side of things and that's different to me and utterly fascinating.
Black and White by Mere, where Nick's famous and Justin ain't and Nick can't quite get himself to see things in shades of grey. It moves fast and hits hard, man.
In other news, I'm still sick, and that blows. Time for Sudafed--and I think I'm gonna work on my Joey story instead of working really hard! Huzzah!
