If you're scared about 'wrecking' somebody else's story, don't be. Everyone who signs up knows what they're getting into, and although this isn't a gift-exchange like SeSa, I think the general rule of not flaming the person who remixed your fic is one worth setting.
If you don't like the idea of somebody swizzling your fics around, well then, this challenge is not for you. But for the rest of you -- aren't you curious to see what another writer would do with your story? I know I certainly love it, because I am totally one of those writers who likes when other people talk about her stories and make speculations and stuff like that. *g*
So come on, sign up! You have until February 19 to make up your mind, and will get your assignment on the 21st; the stories aren't due till May 7th, so that gives you PLENTY of time to write it. There are already 11 lovely people signed up, and if I get an even number of signups, that would really help me out. Heh!
