See this icon, denizens of the Little Red Apartment? It's ALL YOUR FAULT. I can't believe you managed to get me to watch this show without even being in the same country as me.

That said, I have two major observations:
1) I adore the show Godiva's, which (incidentally, *set* in Vancouver as opposed to being "Vancouver-doubling-as-an-American-city") is written by one of the QAF US people. Finding that out went a long way towards making me curious to watch the American QAF.

2) It's a damn good thing I got into the show this late in the game, because I am a HOPELESS Brian/Justin person to the point of obnoxiousness. I fast-forward just about everybody else, unless it's Emmett or Ben (sometimes) or they're, y'know, interacting with Brian or Justin. I think I've heard Debbie say about three lines of dialogue total, learned all that I know about Ted secondhand, and am not even sure of the lesbians' names. And yet I still believe that there's NOT ENOUGH Brian and Justin.

So, jae_w wrote me a threemanbus ficlet, and man, she hits this dynamic right *on*, with all the complications and oversimplifications and everything that makes it so sweet but sharp. Like a baby hedgehog, or something. Delicious!

Also, I'm futzing around with new icons for myself and while fruitlessly combing through old albums for scenery shots of when we lived in Trinidad, I found a number of photos of my mum. And while I'm not keen on putting up photographs of myself, I have absolutely no compunctions about putting up hers. Hah!

( And I'd love it if you guys put up photos of parents/guardians/grandparents/whoever as well. It can be a meme! It'll be fun, I swear!! )
