bossymarmalade: blue eye with lashes of red flower petals (oh honey)
The Wee Sister brought over pie last night and we got Mexican food from Taco del Mar, since apparently one opened here. It was pretty good. You have to understand -- we're starved for Mexican food up here, the kind that doesn't come from the mall food court. So sad. And we watched Angel. Tell me, you Jossfans -- all those parallels between Angel and Batman were part of the concept, right? Because there should be some reason I keep calling Kate "Jim Gordon".

Also, this morning I woke up and Lori was on my computer checking her communities and whatnot and I saw this. I love it. I love it SO MUCH. I *also* enjoy being a girl when it makes hunchbacks drop beseechingly to the ground in front of me. It's like she took a snapshot of my LIFE!!

Today's JC rec: Secret Fish by Eddie of [livejournal.com profile] thebitchtrolls. Okay, so there's not much of a point to the story, and it's basically just JC and Justin talking about...fish. And yet there's a sweet kind of fun feeling to it and it made me smile, and really, that's just as good as something that's full of Deep Meaning, isn't it?

In conclusion, I see that people are gnawing and chomping at the Jesse-i-ie-io conundrum and whether or not he's a "legitimate" character, so to speak. Here's what I think, to quote Denis Leary: Broccoli's a side-dish, folks. Always was, always will be.
bossymarmalade: jc chasez wants to know if you ever wonder why (j'accuse!)
You know what's stupid? Bands like Out of My Mouth or whatever who do punk or hard-rock remakes of songs like Madonna's "Music" and then are all, "oh, yeah -- that song was totally lame and stupid, and we decided to make fun of it but at the same time we made it cool because we're HARD AZZ." Shut up, losers. YOU KNEW A MADONNA SONG. Fred Durst knew a George Michael song. Further Seems Forever knew an *nsync song. Get over yourselves.

That said, JC on Much on Demand! He wasn't there long, and boy was his hair fugly, but he was charming and articulate and they played his ADIDAS video and Amanda asked him good questions even if Rick couldn't pronounce "Chasez", so all in all I'm glad I watched it. Plus he said he talks to "two members of *nsync a week" and that each of the guys had a different favourite song on Schizophrenic. And then I screamed, "who likes what, JC, WHO?!?!?" at the television screen, but JC ignored me.

So I had this idea where I was going to write twenty-four timbertrick conversations with little to no exposition. Just because I am madly in love with writing dialogue. But I got through three of them before realizing that I just couldn't make it work in a fic-type format, because my skillz evidently lie elsewhere. And then I didn't know what to do with them. So obviously, this means that I'm posting them here.
