Incidentally, I got The Talk when I was twelve; Catholic girls' school, despite what the movies say, is a very unsexy place and I really never had much cause to know before then. We were staying at a beach house and one morning my mother and I went for a walk in our nighties, and then we sat down on some driftwood and she told me about the facts o' life. It was all very strange and surreal. I don't know if Lori ever got the talk; I think my parents relied on me to relate what I'd been told. Heh.
Anyhow, enough. I need to go watch more Battlestar Galactica; last night was the pilot and a chance for Captain Zack of the Battlestar Galactica to prove his quality.
