it's time to get homer-erotic!

Hope all you crazy Americans are enjoying your strange middle-of-the-week Thanksgiving. I had a bowl of Cocoa Krispies (sadly unavailable here, and brought for me by the wundermous rachel_wilder, *mwah*) in your honour this morning.

Also, I have now seen the "Some Girls" video, and I like it. I'm happy that JC went for this buttery look, like watching the whole thing through a sheet of honey. Seeing him act all sexy, though, kind of makes me giggle uncomfortably -- some people you just don't want to really see that way. But hey, good for alla youse who do. *g*

The little bits where he's solo in what navia aptly calls the shirt "with large black sequins" (which I liked) and just grooving around, those are good. And I adore the little Arabic-lilted riff at the end; it reminded me of Cheb Mami's part in Sting's "Desert Rose", which is probably no surprise.

Don't care overly for the choreography, but whatever. I just tune it out like Justin's end choreography in the LILY video. But Navia's right -- those blonde chicks are totally vampires luring him away to be their midnight banquet. The club is full of bitches, indeed.

The mountains outside my window are snowy and beautiful. I fucking love this city.
