Okay, confession time: I'm positively incapable of reading fics with children in them. Like, where the characters interact with children on any major level. If the kiddie's background, I'm fine, but if the kid acutally has a part...? Can't do it. Which, sadly, rules out a lot of Joey-fic for me. Muh.

However, you can find pretty much any flavour of Joey you're looking for in the Anyone Can Whistle challenge, set up by the lovely and talented smartlikejustin; I've enjoyed Kel's and Sandy's in particular. mmmmmm, group dynamic-y.
