Jul. 13th, 2002 07:57 amWatched Reign of Fire last night. It really wasn't as horrendous as all the critics led me to believe.
And according to my sister, I was the only juvenile who snickered when Matthew McConaughay's character told Christian Bale "Ride that thing down my throat!!"
I'm nine, obviously.
Ah, well--I paid for it once I left, because we were all supposed to meet up at a restaurant and I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up taking a half-hour drive around skeevy East Van. Somehow all the nighttime sights of hookers and hoodlums did little to ease my nervousness, but I managed to point myself in the right direction eventually and made it okay. Whew.
In other news: The Twelve Year-Old Boss bought a popsicle for us to share yesterday. He is so cool. I'd have a crush on him if he weren't, y'know, my boss and constantly talking about his baby and fiance. ^_~
