talking pictures! talking pictures!

I feel like doing a survey.

Movie you've seen the most times in the theater: "Stargate." I was taking the most boring Journalism class on the face of the earth one night a week, and for half that time my friend and I skipped class and went to see "Stargate." I don't know why we never tried another movie. We weren't even stoned or anything, man.

Movie you've seen the most times on video/dvd: Over the course of my entire life, it's probably the "Sound of Music." Followed closely by the "Return of the Jedi."

Favorite chick movie: I don't really like chick movies, but assuming that musicals count--"For Me and My Gal."

Favorite action movie: Um, I'm not really into action much. But I really liked "The Bride with White Hair."

Favorite western: "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."

Favorite movie sex scene: Completely randomly, seeing as I don't own the movie or anything, it's the one between Jude Law and Rachel Weisz in "Enemy at the Gates." Because, dude.

Favorite movie to watch when depressed: As I'm one of those people who flows with her bouts of depression, I'd say "Fire Walk with Me."

Movie you like that you're embarrassed to admit: "Batman and Robin." It's a piece of crap, but I watch it faithfully every time it's on TV.

Movie you liked that no one else did: "Nowhere," a small indie film by Greg Araki. If you're interested in seeing Ryan Phillippe gagged and tied up in Christmas lights and don't mind that it's Heather Graham riding him like a carousel, then I recommend it highly. ^_^

Movie you hated that everyone else loved: Anything by Woody Allen

Most juvenile video/dvd you own – and watch: Doesn't *nsync count...?

Movie you've never seen that the rest of the world has: Austin Powers (all of them)

Movie that makes you laugh no matter how many times you see it: "Bad Influence." Because it is the biggest pile of crap that James Spader ever took.

Movie that makes you cry no matter how many times you see it: "The Color Purple." Shug leads the crowd into her daddy's church all singing and stuff, and I start crying and it's all downhill from there.

Movie (not cartoon) that always puts you in the holiday spirit: "White Christmas." I'm a sucker for traditional holiday movies.

Favorite Disney movie (animated or live action): "Newsies," man. Seize the day!

Favorite slashy movie (not gay themed): "Plunkett and Macleane," AKA the best Timbertrick movie ever made.

Movie you can quote the most dialogue from: Just about anything I own, with special attention to the Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies. And probably all of "Dangerous Liasons" and "Pulp Fiction."

Favorite movie scene you can recite verbatim:

Your best movie impression: Sarah Michelle Gellar's classic line in "Cruel Intentions" -- "I'm sorry, but I don't fuck losers!" Complete with Valley-Girl facial contortions and all.

Movie you absolutely will not watch: "There's Something About Mary." I don't care how many people tell me, "Oh, but it was really funny!!" So were minstrel shows, once upon a time. I don't watch those motherfuckers either.
