Wheeeeeee! I forgot to say that ohmygod I've seen that movie - not recently - and I think I giggled my way through it just like them. Heeee. And, and, the casting!! Too funny. *runs out to rent it*.

And, um, waffy? warm-and-fuzzy-feelings-y. a throwback term from an earlier fandom *grin*.

I love that movie so much that I'm sure it's wrong. The only time I ever see it is late at night on Bravo, and just like Joey, never from the beginning.

And I love the word "waffy!" I loved it even without knowing what it meant, and I love it even more now. Tee!

what fandom was it? because the Fandom in My Past also used that phrase and I'd be interested in finding out if it was used in another one. (It was Lois and Clark, the New Adventures of Superman for me.)

I haven't been involved in the fandom in a longass time, but I chatted in #loiscla a bit, and I was on the list of course. I wrote a bit, but nothing worth anything at all. really. *grin*. I was either 'jenrae' or 'mskrypton' back then, but I was also a big ol' lurker.

And I could swear I think I recognize your nick. I went by cerise^ when I was a folc. LOL. FOLC! When I think that puppies have reached the height of the ridiculous when it comes to nicknames and fandom terms, I remember *that* one.

Don't know if you read the 'adult' lois and clark fic, or if you know her, but Peace and Kal-El, the guy who owned/ran #loiscla got married a couple of years ago. It's still a pretty active fandom, though #loiscla is dead dead dead.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! Whenever one of my friends writes JoeC I like to believe that it was especially done for me. Because everything is about me. And the benjamins. But mostly about me.

But anyways.

Oh, JC! Wanting so much to be seen as not-boring and turning to Joey for help with that, even though Joey is completely enthralled with his donut show (which I can only imagine was being shown on TLC. mmmm...TLC and donuts).

And, then! Then they're at the movies and the popcorn is greasy and the floor is sticky and it's all. so. perfect. Joey would take JC to see a Russ Meyer flick, wouldn't he? And Justin *totally* would read Valley of the Dolls. That's the trashy kind of girl he is.

Oh, and then they partake in my favourite nsync-related activity- casting! And, yes. JC is *so* Mrs. Mia Wallace. I think it's the pants.

And then, oh! Giggling and hand-holding and hot, sweaty boysex. Love! So much love. :D

And I know people have already defined it, but I believe that waffy originated in the anime fandom. I know I've seen the word in the CFAN Fanfic Glossary, at least, and I think that's where it came from.
