CHRIS: Whoo! Yeah! Hope you're planning to get hammered!!
ME: Well, we'll be ordering Chinese food. And watching a lot of horror movies and playing a scary video game to freak ourselves out.
CHRIS: *eyes me scornfully and suspiciously*
ME [sighing]: And probably getting hammered.
JC [excited]: Hey, her hair's all colored like mine! With blonde! And, um, she's a redhead! And stuff! Whee, yeah!
ME: Jayce, why don't I introduce you to her cat, Dakota? You two will hit it off marvelously.
CHRIS: Because they're both pretty kittens or whatever?
ME: Because neither of them has a thought in their pretty kitty heads.
JC: Whee! Whoo!
