So I was making Myrna Loy icons today because I suddenly felt that I could not survive for ONE MORE MINUTE without having one, and along my travels I came across this, which is a compilation of photos of Caucasian people made up in "yellowface" and "blackface" (and, I guess, "brownface" too). Fascinating stuff, and I can't stop laughing now that I've learned that the Irish chick from Touched By an Angel pulled a Lois Lane and became Black For A Day! That's the best shit EVER. Be sure to check out the rest of the page, because it's got some really neat photos and examples on it.

Also, got the first Buffy Season 7 disc. Is it just me, or is the episode "Help" (with that girl who writes web-poetry) one big crappy metaphor for teen suicide? Bleck. I like angsty teen poetry better when Veronica Mars writes it and it's about fake cutter tendencies. Heh!
