So -- are we going to start referring to Jive as the "PR Devils" now? Somebody tell me, so I can get my tinfoil hat ready!

JC's not Justin. He's not gonna set up camp on the media circuit or bother to follow deadlines. Which is fine, that's cool, that's the way he is and that's why we love him...so I don't see why Jive needs to be demonized for JC's album/singles not coming out when they're "expected". The guy's on hiatus, he seems to be doing the album for fun, not Grammy gold and sales figures and photoshoots in tight t-shirts. If there is an eventual shiny media blitz, I'll be the first to eat my words, but until then? I reserve the right to highly doubt that JC's so naive that he'd let Big Bad Jive screw him over.

And I don't know about you, but I only blame record companies for being greedy idiots who think it makes sense to sue college students for their tuition, I don't really think they're capable of malice when it comes to their artists. They want them to have fat pockets for picking!

It's the whole publicity thing that made me froth. JC has never been one to do a lot of media events anyway -- he and Chris are the least publicity-minded in the group. You can practically count on one hand the number of events he goes to. And for the past couple of weeks since Challenge, I don't know, maybe he was recovering from that painful-appearing sunburn (or the falsely attributed sun poisoning that everyone was so ready to say he had). At any rate, he just doesn't get out that much. That's why it drives me nuts.
