take you back deep
So. This summer I went to a little thing called Dexcon, where I met some folks I'd always wanted to and where my interest in comicfandom was somewhat rekindled.
Which resulted in me writing another Gen X fic. Well, not anything long, or anything particularly actiony, but I have to ease myself back into the fandom, y'know?
Anyhow, here it is, since
wgsarah gave me a prod and squeed over it, and that's all the encouragement I need. It follows A Bit of Naughty in the No Regresas series, in case you're wondering.

There is never enough Angefic in the world. Ever.
Also, you may want to consider posting the link to your other journal and flinging the puppy over the ever-popular OTL (lemme know if you need to/want to have that done for you) as I don't think we've managed to lure all of your core comic audience over to the sparklyside yet. ::grin::

And eeee! Angelo!
Now I have the urge to dig out my last issues of Gen X and write that Monet/Jubilee story I swore I'd finish...
Re:
And, yay! You knew what I was talking about and squee over Ange! Thank you!

::perks:: You're gonna work on that? Really and truly? Because, I've so been waiting for that.
::stands off to the side and hops up and down a bit::
What? Oh, don't mind me...

However, Monet continually showing up in the latest issues of The Uncanny X-men is making it more and more likely that she'll finally poke me into writing it.
re: Found Out
(Although, and this breaks the run of superlatives, sorry, personally I find the phonetic Jono-speak disrupting, but that's probably just me. I mean, I'm not really complaining, 'cause it's canon, but just so you know.)
Gorgeous job, babe. More! More! Not necessarily in this series, but, well, anything. However you're inspired.
Re: re: Found Out
And, y'know--this time around, I found the phonetic-speak pretty irritating myself. I think I'm going to re-work it so it's not quite so blatant, and probably shamelessly revise all my old stuff, too. Because re-reading it is practically painful in spots, what with all the Gambit-esque letter-dropping. *g*
But yes, feedback! Thank you thank you thank you! Eeeee!!

But. I have to ask now. You aren't leaving us, are you? Like, you can do two fandoms at once? Right? [looks pitiful and sad]
CHRIS, JUSTIN & LANCE: [look pitiful, too]
Re:
Dear Lord, the thought of leaving the SDBs sends my heart into erratic palpitations. I love them--and you--far too much to leave now. *snuggle*
Re:
Oh good. Not that you struggled, but that you won't leave.
I'd miiiiiss you so.
::hugs::

And like I'd let her leave. I dragged her kicking and screaming (although, admittedly, it was more like "Here! Sparkly!!" and she rolled over and showed her belly) into this fandom and by golly, she's gonna stay!! ;P

Re:
If she tries to bolt, you grab one leg and I'll grab the other. Chris and Justin'll block the door and Lance will make a phone call to a guy he knows who can totally help us out. JC and Joey would help, but they seem rather occupied on that sofa over there.

Well, now, see. That'd be no good because I'd just be distracted the whole time and she might slip away. We might need to call in Nick to help us.
