So, I felt like doing a
What's the first fandom you wrote fic for?
Generation X (the Marvel comic book).
What's the most recent fandom that you've written fic for?
Apart from *nsync? The Batman universe.
What's the title of your first fanfic?
"No Hama, Please--I'm Jewish." *cough* Don't even ask, yo.
Does it suck beyond the telling of it?
It's pretty sucky. My writing was a lot cruder, and I'm happy that at least it was a MST and so I didn't need to be particularly skilled.
Is it slash, het, or gen?
Gen.
What was your first 'ship?
Uhhhhh...Beats me. I kinda liked the Angelo/Paige dynamic, and then in H:LotS it was Munch/Howard or Pembleton/Bayliss. Oh, and in Tour of Duty it was Percell/Hockenbury.
What are your most common fic pairings?
Ange/anybody (my goal was to get him laid enough to conteract his complete lack of action in the comic), Frank/Tim, Timbertrick, Lambs.
What is your most commonly written character?
I wrote Angelo like crazy in Gen X fandom. In H:LotS...uh, Frank, I guess. In ToD it was Doc Hock. And in *nslash, it's Justin and Chris.
Have you ever created an original character?
There's a couple of incidental people, but I wouldn't really call them characters. The closest I did there was a chick named...uh...Raven somethingorother, in a parody fic called Revolt.
What character did you swear that you'd never write, but eventually did?
If we're talking people I just don't like and never wanted to write, but who ended up getting a good part and not just being a foil...then AJ.
If we're talking people I swore I'd never love and have now ended up writing obsessively--then it's Chris Kirkpatrick.
What's the wackiest fanfic situation you've put the characters in?
*blink blink*
I put the GenX kids in a melodramatic murder mystery where one of their professors turned out to be a crossdresser. I put the Homicide detectives in a cooking show. I wrote a UK Queer as Folk/Hellblazer crossover, as well as *nsync crossing over with Superman, Strangers in Paradise, Hellblazer, Preacher, the X-Men and the Gilmore Girls as well as growing horns, and there's animagus!Justin in there somewhere.
Do any of those count? ^_~
What pairing do you hate to admit to actually indulging in, against your better judgement?
*shame mode* Um...Justin/Veal. I'm so embarassed!!! *cries*
Can you remember the first fanfic you ever read?
I think it was Kielle's X-MST3K..."it was the first time that I had never had before," people!
How long have you been involved in internet fandoms?
Since '97, if I remember correctly.
Ever written a crossover?
In addition to the ones above, I also wrote Excalibur/Hellblazer, and I have a Harry Potter/Hellblazer that will one day be finished, I swear!
Best crossover fic you've read?
Dude. That's haaaard. Probably...well, Mr. Tim's Wild Ride, because it crams so many wonderful fandoms in there and is a whole lotta fun besides. ^_^
What character do you want to write, but don't think you could?
I sucked sucked sucked at writing Kay Howard and was pretty blah when it came to writing Meldrick. Which poots, because I like them.
And Harry Potterfic is daunting, because I really enjoyed the books but...they're difficult to wrangle with.
And I still kinda want to write that David Copperfield/James Steerforth slash, but I'm scared to.
Well, that was fun!
