So my sister's in the States for ChicagoCon, which means that I'm staying over at

chootoy's house for the week. Wheeee!

We did henna last night, but I think it was losing its potency. It didn't come out as dark as I'd hoped on my arm, although my palm looks quite nice. And I do have some pretty scrollwork on the back of my hand, which smells nice and herbal.

Twelve Year-Old Boss showed me pictures of his wee one. They are such cute pictures, and her eyes are blue and enormous. It makes me want babies. Then I start thinking again, and I'm all better.

Showcase will be showing "54" sometime this month, which is good because I kinda wanted that movie but wasn't willing to shell out actual money for it. And it makes me long for

squickgrrl to write her 70's!sync AU. Because how much would that rock, man?

I don't wanna do work today. I wanna be at home looking at

batgrrl1975's pretty pretty pictures and reading fic.

Also, I wanted to use my communist!Lance icon. Because it makes me giggle.

Randomly, I love

kezzyee because she's an absolute darling sweetheart and braves the JJB so I don't have to and she looks like Nigella Lawson and she loves Lance. Plus, she's the only Schismite who's in the SDB fandom, and that makes me about fifteen shades of happy. ^_^

Yes, I always want kids when I see them until I realize "wow, those things are really obnoxious and a lot of work" and that solves that. And it reminds me to take my birth control pills.

They're sweet from afar. But close up, they don't like me one bit. So it's just as well, really.

The henna doesn't come out just so on the arm cause the upper arm doesn't generate as much heat as the palm of your hand...next time leave it on all night! *wink*

I did leave it on all night! But I think my arm was kind of cold. Ahhh, well. There's the whole summer to do it. Can I beg borrow or buy some more henna from you? I'd like to do it before I go to DexCon. ^_^

No worries we can figure something out. I have to work on getting the mixture to the right consistency, cause that one was too thick, and the cone sucked. I'll check to see how much of the stuff is left, as it was our stash from India...*wink*

Further proof (if required) that there's at least 2 of me in here! :) I didn't even think that folks wouldn't know; again proving my ego is as large as a house.

Folks on Schism were wonderful & friendly, and I still miss that list. I'm definitely in touch still with Mary, Vali and Beth as well as you and Kez, but I didn't speak up much there - not sure why, but it wasn't as easy to dive in and begin babbling as here in SDB land.

Oh, you two (Glitter and Dine, I mean, not both of Dine *g*) are being too kind. {{blushes and goes all teary.}}

Schism was certainly a great list to meet people and have fun *and* serious discussions and it is still sorely missed by me.
