Nothing--and I repeat, nothing--is more fun than watching strandia karaoke Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back." Except maybe invading a White Spot and talking loudly about the puppies and shooting snarky Chris-like comments at chootoy to watch her get flustered, or maybe trying to convince the lovely Evil Overlord lance_nerd to karaoke Barenaked Ladies with me and using my wiles (read: being annoying) to elicit a promise to sing next time.

Next time! And you have to come, pop_tarts, because glockgal and strandia (who really is Jo-weeee, by the by) did a wonderful Timbertone performance of one of your songs. ^_^

Anyhow, as you can tell--much fun was had, roiling annoyance with certain lj divas was vented, sour apple and sour raspberry shots were consumed, and we all piled into the car and had sing-along time to "Up Against the Wall" and "Here We Go" on the way back. It is too much fun having a bunch of locals who are in-fandom, which never happened with otherfandom/s. I may never go back.

*happy sigh*

And now I'm going to go buy new shoes today. And maybe the Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD. And watch the things the Evil Overlord burned for me, muahahahah.

It's been so long since I had disposable income, and even longer since I've gone out with a bunch of friends. Life is certainly going well for me, thank la madre. And it's Lance's birthday! And squickgrrl is coming to see us soon! And cliokat and I have a new project in the making! and silviakundera posted a really enthralling piece of Timbertrick! and beth666ann is going to a candle party, which makes me laugh like an idiot! and village might make me one of her pretty pretty icons! and the callmesandy conglomerate as well as my dear kezzyee posted a bunch of Lance/Lamb pics! and thebitchtrolls are invading otherfandom with puppiness! and I love glassapple and allen_sama and beckynicky and viedma just because, dammit!
