Stayed over at chootoy's last night and watched puppy tapes far too late. But it was their 1995 birthday party thing! And it was so fucking sad! Man, have those guys ever paid their dues. Although that still doesn't excuse the lack of an insert for the "N the Mix" DVD.

Yeah--they're all in these lame white outfits, performing at some hall or something with Lou up on the mezzanine keeping a watchful and creepy eye on them.

I could be wrong about it being a birthday party, but they *did* sing "Happy Birthday" to some girl and then had to go with her and her friends to a restaurant after. It was so sad.

That sort of sounds like the demo show they did at Pleasure Island in October 1995. I think there are shots of Lynn and Lou on the mezzanine.

Was the setlist something like: (Give It To Me?), Happy Birthday to girl, I Thought She Knew, (Tell Me That I’m Dreaming?) twice, I’ll Be Back For More, and the National Anthem? And at the restaurant (Planet Hollywood) Joey shows off his soon-to-be cut hair, and Lance shimmys to 'Mr. Postman'?

Thaaaaaat's it. That show was freakin' awful. Lance falling over, JC forgetting choreography, Justin looking shit-terrified...man. It was like a train wreck.
