Also: Lance photocopies something in the movie with the photocopier *open.* Does this actually work? I've never tried it--I already don't care for the Hip, hockey or butter tarts, man. If I rebel too much, they'll deport me for being un-Canadian.

I may try this at work today, though. Just to see. Tee!

It does. I constantly do it, but it does make your copy a little less clear.

It works. But if the piece of paper you're copying is, say, smaller than normal, you'll get a strange black background usually. Also, don't, you know, look at the light. It hurts. And is very bright. Because it is a laser.

Say, maybe *that's* why he did it. It is Lance, after all.

That explains so much. Lance was fascinated with the laser. I wonder how many takes they had to do of that before they could get Lance to stop staring at the laser

Yeah, it does work. And it also helps save those precious seconds when you're photocopying 50+ page articles at school.

It works very well, I do it all the time. And the light's not too bad (certainly not a laser in any of the copiers I have access to) in the newer ones as long as you don't stick your face in and stare directly at it. The old flashy ones can make you see spots, pretty bad, though.

I suspect Lance is like me and just too impatient to close the damn lid. I want my copy and I want it NOW! Instant gratification!
