A while ago--like, a month ago--was chootoy's birthday. And I promised to write birthday fic for her, concerning TrickC and animals. So Glock and I plotted, and then I wrote, and so here's what I came up with. ^_^

Through Glass

"It?s the baby?s first birthday," JC whispered next to him, fingertips drawing circles on the glass. Chris blinked at JC, then back at the newborn giraffelet, then back at JC, whose breath was fluttering warm across the pane, each inhalation pressing ribs up against Chris? fingers. JC smiled, turning a little towards Chris, licking his lips before he solemnly said, "It?s a miracle."

Oh, you've killed me with sweetness.

I love this JC, so sweet and earnest. I can so see him doing this. And very nicely done Chris. Loved the way Chris' thoughts kept drifting. :)

In conclusion, I hereby find this story to be sweet and awww with a side of hot.

oh honey....that was wonderful :) i'm sitting here all teary-eyed after reading it, because JC! and Chris! and they're getting to see a baby giraffe born! having actually petted a giraffe, i can say that they're just amazing animals and they actually creak when they walk...and their lips are so soft and fuzzy and they DO have big brown eyes, and....

ok, ok. channelling JC a little too much there ;) but yes! i love the way you described JC up against the glass as he watched, and Chris watching him, and feeling all overwhelmed by him, and even adoring the way he bites his nails and...ohhhhhhhh.

this was just absoutely beautiful. a lovely mixture of sweetness and hotness and TrickC! can't get better than that :)

i have the cleverest overseas crush in the world :)
