By the way, have any of y'all seen "Becoming the Band?" That MTV show where they take a bunch of ordinary people and re-do a music video with them?

Because sometime on Sunday, they showed this bunch of guys who wanted to be the BSB and glockgal, chootoy and I laughed for half an hour straight through. They were sooooo freakin' cute! And they collected "Kevin" from his shop class! ahahahahahahaaahaha!!!!

They did a rather alarmingly good job, yo--it was "I Want it That Way" and the Nick and AJ just nailed it. And then afterward, the Nick one was all in tears because he had such a good time. Ohhhhhh Lord.

So, yes. I am SO waiting for the bunch of boys who want to be Puppies!

They showed *NSYNC's Becoming a few weeks ago. I thought it was *really* poorly done - they clearly need to re-create fairly cheap videos, so they redid "Tearin' Up My Heart" - but they dressed the guys like they look now rather than how they looked then - and they added recent-ish choreography (BBB & Pop) to the TUMH dance break.

It was like really weirdly done timeshift!sync. ick.

Feh. That sucks. I was wondering which video they'd use, since they probably would want to stay away from special effects and extraneous characters, but, uh, NSA choreography? That's just weird, yo.

It's actually not as good as the BSB one. I mean, the boy who was Nick, he really really wanted, in his deepest darkest secret heart place, to be Nick.

And yeah, since we're Canada and we're all backward and stuff, the BSB one was the first to air. No matter how bad the rest are, I'm still kinda looking forward to them. ^_~
