uh-oh, spaghetti-o's
TV last night was good; I really like Ugly Betty, so it's nice to watch that and then go straight into Supanatchral. Although, I must say -- this season's magic isn't as accurate and awesome as the first season's. I mean, the clown turning out to be a rakasha? WTF do Hindu demons have to do with *circus clowns*? It don't make no sense and it felt like the writers just opened up a demonology book and pointed at one at random. They should hire ME to do that kind of research shit for them, yo.
Also, Lori and I will forever refer to Daniel on Ugly Betty as "Grandma with the birthday presents", because anybody who's seen Cruel Intentions must surely remember his character delivering dialogue involving that stellar line (even in a movie FULL of stellar lines). God, now I totally wanna watch that movie again.
Speaking of the Wee Sister, she is holding some sort of challenge wherein November 1st is Unofficial International Day of Self-Portrait. You should all do it too! Some of you are good with photography, some of you with art, and the rest of us can just glue handfuls of yarn and glitter to a stick figurine and call that portraiture. Because yes, even *I* shall be exercising my formidable art skillz to create something! Won't you join in?
Incidentally, fellow Canadians? I was at Superstore today and I noticed they now carry Tim-Tams. Yes, that's right -- the Commonwealth pulls through for us once more!!

Unless! It might be Rupert Penry-Jones! Hmm.

I'm still undecided about Ugly Betty; it's painful to watch her go through things I went through.
Your self-portrait link leads to nospace. ^_^

the AD&D Monster Manual said Rakasha were tiger demon were-creature things
ahahaah! Good ol' Monster Manual. *g* Traditionally, rakashas can take a few different forms and stuff, but CLOWN really isn't one of them. Heh!

It does make me cringe at points. But I think I'm still watching because I like America Ferarra so much; she manages to not make Betty into a pathetic sorry-for-herself victim, y'know? At the end of the episode, Betty always recoups and can be proud of herself.

and, c'mon. You can't tell me that you didn't think last night's MOTW was made of awesome?

Last night's monster was *horrifying*!! But see, there was less arcane mumbo-jumbo attached to it, so I didn't get all stroppy about the accuracy of said mumbo-jumbo. *g*
I DEMAND TIM-TAMS WHEN I COME AND VISIT!!!
AND SO SHALL YOU HAVE THEM, MY PRRRRRECIOUS! SHARE THE LOAD
