So, I had taped last week's Lost and Lori and I watched it last night (right before committing three hours of our lives to Stephen King's "Deliverance", and hey, howcome Stephen doesn't show up in his movies anymore? I miss him popping up as Shitkicker #3!) and we were squeeing in delight over the Dr. Jack = Superman and Locke = Batman dynamics, and then the rest of it somehow fell into place. Ergo:

Dr. Jack = Superman
Locke = Batman
Sawyer = Green Arrow
Kate = Hawkgirl
Sayid = Green Lantern
Mr. Eko = The Martian Manhunter
Hurley = The Flash
Michael = Aquaman
Walt = Aqualad (yes, Aqualad, not Tempest)
Ana-Lucia = Huntress
Libby = Harley Quinn

Island JLU = OMG HART.

...okay, so Harley isn't part of the JLU, and Claire and Charlie would be, uh, like -- Black Canary and Booster Gold or something. And Jin & Sun get to be the lone Marvelites in that they're obviously Scott & Jean. Look, I dunno. It made sense last night when we were whining like little girls through all the creepiness.

Now, breakfast. I think hot buttered toast, sweet tea, and soft-boiled eggs will do. mmmm, nursery-food.

I read Stephen King's "On Writing" and he was hit by a car, in 2003? maybe, and hurt pretty badly [traction, rehab and the like] so he's probably not doing much shitkicking these days.
