i love the part in "space cowboy" when left eye starts her rap, and she goes, "sonic boom" and then some puppy (jc, i suspect) in the background wails, "BOOM!" and it's the cutest thing in the whole wide world.

plus, i want to see justin in heeled boots like brian slade's in velvet goldmine, and see jc in silver leather pants like curt wild's. or maybe the other way around. i'm easy to please.

Didja hear that? That's the sound of Mel's brain exploding. 'Cause Velvet Goldmine was my first fandom, and I still have such an unholy amount of love for that movie, and I think I would probably give my firstborn to see JC as Brian.

Hmm. Well, we've had this problem before, trying to recast puppies in VG. Becuase I think Justin is actually more Brian than JC; JC is too humble to be Brian. But Justin's got that perfect balance of arrogance and vulnerability that Brian's got. On the other hand, though, I just really like to picture JC in Brian's costumes. In that capacity, at least, I could see JC as Brian way more than I could see Justin.

And I definitely think Chris is Kurt. No question about that, for me. Just crazy and wild and passionate and insane and brilliant. A bit of an asshole at times, but his heart's in the right place. And he loves Brian.

Lance is absolutely a shoo-in for Arthur. No doubt.

That leaves Mandy, who I always have trouble with. Britney, maybe, if Justin is Brian. I don't know. Hmm. What do you think?

Yes, yes yes! I like Chris as Kurt, too. And the idea of him writhing on the floor screaming "i wanna fucking feel it!!" melts my synapses. ^_^

Timbertrick wins over TrickC for me when it comes to Brian. ^_~ JC is more the costumes, true, but then again, Justin isn't all that averse to being tarted up either. *g*

And yep, Brit as Mandy. Then Joey can be...um...whatzis name, Eddie Izzard's character, because I liked him muchly, and we've got the whole thing cast! Yay!
