Well, I just went for a job interview and I got a temp position till the end of March.

Somebody be happy for me? My parents are full of delightfully encouraging things like, "You're barely making over minimum wage," and "Well, I suppose you have to start somewhere," and "I guess you can keep looking for a better job while you're doing this," -- all of which are true, but make me extremely bummed. Muh.

I believe you have CVs in North America, but they have a slightly different format to a resume. Or something. It confuses me. And it doesn't matter;)

That is cool, good for you. 'Till March is good stuff, at least you'll be out of the house so mom doesn't get crazy on your ass. Trust me, I relish the days I'm out of the house. Gives the illusion that I'm busy/have a life.

And LJ friends are always wonderful. And right. The parentals just want you to be settled and calm and happy. I hate to be so shallow, but in all honesty, money makes people happy.
