good news, everyone! i've got some terrible news!

Bad News: My computer completely conked out. That's miles and miles of music that I just lost, man. At least I'm pretty sure that all the important stuff--writing and whatnot--I've neurotically backed-up all over the place, so really, apart from the music the biggest loss is various pictures of the threemanbus crew.

Good News: I like cheese melted on toast. Actually, the good news is that I can use glockgal's computer and not worry about getting mine repaired right away. Also good news is that she's now working at a Comfort Inn in Harrow, so at least she's not ranging the English countryside bleating for employ. Also, I burn CDs at the rate of 3-4 per month, so I might be able to cobble back together most of my playlist.

Good News: New Veronica Mars tonight! New Lost tomorrow, and also this local show called Godiva's that I'm liking lately.

Bad News: They're showing that dating chatline commercial starring Kate from Lost ALOT "" on tv lately. I don't even like seeing her when I tune in to her show, I sure as hell don't want to be ambushed with her simpering commercials!

Good News: revisionary, I got your package of imps, you precious darling. They're magnificent, and I have discovered that if a scent has "blood" in the title I usually like it. *g* Thank you so much! *mwah*

Bad News: indirajames, it's gonna be a couple of days before I can rearrange my Tom Waits mp3's and upload them for you. But I will do it, rest assured!

Here I thought I was completely insane! I've seen that commercial three times in the last two days, and I keep saying "Is that Kate? No, it can't be!" Good to know I haven't lost it totally.

I don't think so, dude! My computer crashed once before (I think the hard drive got corrupted, or something?) and it did the same thing then that it's doing now--restarting in a continuous loop. It gets to that "restart in safe mode" screen and then there's a flash of the Blue Screen of Death and then it restarts. Is that bad? It seems bad to me, but I don't know anything about how computers work, really! waaaaaaah!!

- mmm...cheese melted on toast. Because, you know, you need cheese, like, every day. And I'm glad Lori's not ranging the English countryside and bleating, especially because I just re-watched An American Werewolf in London, which teaches us about the dangers of roaming about the English countryside. Especially if you're with Griffin Dunne.

- I thought Lost wasn't starting again until next week and now I am oh-so-happy to learn we will be getting it a week earlier. yay!

- My TV is happily Kate-free. Or maybe it's just because I've been watching a ridiculous amount of movies lately. Yay for videostore work!

- Everybody else seems to be saying that Lost is new, so if I'm wrong, blame them instead of me. ahahahah!

- How is life at the videostore? I need to find a part-time job myself and am considering videostoring it. Because they won't make me take my eyebrow ring out or wear nylons, dammit!

Griffin Dunne? BWHAHAHAHAAHAA! I can only ever picture him in my head looking either torn up and bloody or terrified as Madonna yells in his face.

And the videostore is GREAT. All I do is watch movies ALL DAY. And occasionally put away porn, but that's always fun, especially when there's a guy back there. They usually hide behind the shelves until I leave, so sometimes I just wander around like I'm looking for something and it's like this bizarre chase scene as he tries to keep hidden from view and I just keep following him.

I'm easily amused by other people's embarrassment.
