if you love your bible so much, why don't you marry it?!?
Happiest of birthdays to my dear
chootoy! You are a fearless Lt (except if your Skippy is threatened) and a talented mini-synthesizer artist--never let anybody tell you differently, or they will be summarily dismissed as PIRAHNA PARIAHS. *snug* Glad to be with you through all the mad craziness and Button-fics, woman.
In less exciting news: I usually stick up for Americans when it comes to my countrymen deriding the entire nation for being completely clueless about even the most simple elements of Canadian life (such as us not living in igloos or finishing every single sentence with "eh"), but then I run across stuff like this. Poor girl. I really shouldn't have made fun of her, but I just couldn't help myself.
Also, I got an e-mail back from one of the MPs I wrote to concerning the Equal Marriage Bill, thanking me for "exercising [my] rights as a Canadian and communicating [my] concerns with [her] office". Most unexpected! I've written ALOT "" of e-mails and letters concerning various causes and this is the first time I've gotten a reply, even if it is a form response. (ETA: just got one from Jim Prentice, too.)
In conclusion: The Simpsons last night rocked. We always knew Patty was a lesbian, but it was neat to see Marge's liberal views challenged when it was *her* family in question and not just John Waters visiting with cactus candy. Heh.

AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHAA!!!! Oh, that's *insane*. I also really like it when I tell people I lived in Trinidad when I was a kid, and they kindly say, "your English is very good!" Because, like--it *should* be, considering THEY SPEAK ENGLISH THERE. *g*

and OMIGOD I loved the Simpsons last night! My favorite bit, because I am boring and predictable, was Marge's comment about Lenny and Carl. oh, how that filled me with glee!
