Sadly, when I was in school it was the opposite. We all called each other the night before to make sure we were wearing the same thing. I think it was some kind of teenaged intimidation tactics or something; so everyone not wearing the predetermined clothes would feel ostracized. Ugh.

Also, when I think about what we WORE. *shudders* I mean, how many pairs of socks can one person wear? As many as it took to scrunch their way up over our tightly tapered jean cuffs, apparently.
