Politically, British Columbia is considering instating a proportional electoral system for our next provincial election. I'm not even that big into Canadian politics and I'm insanely excited by this referendum; now instead of the "vote-by-foodstuffs" thing we resorted to last year, I can rate candidates by order of preference! According to the piechart in the pamphlet, if BC-STV had been used for the last election, the Green Party (in third place) would've had 12% of the seats in the legislature instead of just the overwhelming Liberal majority and token NDPs. Even the Marijuana Party would've had legislative representation. I am all over that.

Non-politically, I am very much enjoying the multifandom pictures that glockgal's been posting; I've seen them all at various stages, but it's nice seeing them on the computer, too. Today's picture of Jean, Ororo and Rogue is particularly pretty!
