So I was having lunch and watching the OC tape that I thought I'd lost (but which had in fact fallen to the side of the tv, forcing me to painstakingly extract it with barbecue tongs), when the pavement-cutters outside started up. Apparently, the city has decided that the tree-roots lacing under the paving in our complex have reached critical mass; perhaps the strange sailor's gait that people employ while walking along the roadway had something to do with that. Anyhow, they started doing work. Noisy, house-shaking work. And then I discovered that lip-reading Kirsten Cohen was surprisingly easy. For anybody who's ever wondered -- Seth is unintelligible unless he's talking to Summer, Anna is a complete write-off, Summer and Ryan vary wildly, Sandy is impossible, and Marissa should fall down a well and drown.

In OC-related news, fuskeez reports that Chris Carmack (that's Lurtz the bestest pink Uruk-Hai to you) will be on the timbertone team at CFTC. This fills me with a joy that only this picture can match.

Sorry, I am stalking you today, but I couldn't not comment when a, you make me snort-laugh over tv-shows I have never watched, and b, you put up the most beautiful picture EVER, which downloaded so v. v. slowly and in extreme close-up. I feel I know every hair and pimple on JC's arms and each pencil smudge under Bobbie's big deer-eyes now. I am also curious about whose leather-jacket is pressed against JC's naked skin? Chris's?

eeeee! The girl has an overbite that sometimes tends to look its worst in pictures, and JC has something weird that happens with his left eye, and yet they're SO GORGEOUS together. Dear GOD!!!

Sadly, another picture in the series included a (extremely brushy-headed) t-shirted Chris, so unless he took off his leather jacket -- I have no idea who that is. Let's just *pretend* it's Chris!
