Okay, so, I read that even despite the fact that I knew I was going to cringe, and also, get upset, and possibly sniffle. I'm going into it, and all worried and like, uncomfortable and ouchy, and then these things happened:

--I got ouchy
--I sniffled
--I cringed at Justin because he didn't know what the fuck he was *doing* to chris
--I cheered for JC
--I wanted to pat Chris. A lot
--and then, something odd: I got to the end, I felt a little better, but I, also didn't. It wasn't particularly ouchie, it wasn't particularly hearts and flowers. I wasn't *upset* so much as... wary.

I think I'll have to re-read it when I get back in order to fully articulate what the story does to me, but in the meantime, yes. Yes...people, yes.
