tell them i hate them!
hmmmmmm. I wasn't going to download JC's clips and was in fact going to wait until the release date to go buy a copy of the album, but now that I'm assured that downloading them will be a sign of my complete lack of self-control and make JC disappointed in me (if, in fact, he does not end up DOWNRIGHT HATING me), I might just get the tracks right fucking now. Wheeeeee!

Did this wanker actually say "disappointed"?

I'm grabbing them today- I see him in concert tomorrow night, and I like concerts better when I have at least a passing familiarity with the songs. So I don't have to absorb the whole thing at once.
It's not like I'm not getting the thing Tuesday....
Re:
I'm disappointed that he hasn't seen fit to come up to Canada for a few shows. That counts too, right?
And dude, for real -- going to a concert and not knowing the songs seems like no fun to me. I say you enjoy your downloads with a free conscience!

mmmmmmmm. JC wants to punish you. I could get behind that logic. *g*

Why do these people suck so bad? They know JC fans and *NSYNC fans are going to buy the album no matter what (for the most part) so why can't they let people be a little giddy over a couple songs?
Fandom's fucking crazy.

But I haven't heard any of his songs. Not one. So I at least want to have some idea of what I'm buying first because, lets face it, some of us are pretty fucking poor and even buying one CD is not to be taken lightly.
Re:
JC's I will buy, because I've been planning to, but I don't see why anybody who chooses to download should be treated like a pariah for not "keeping the faith" or "abiding by JC's wishes" or whatever. Feh.

That's...divine. omg. That's the best thing EVER! I want to eat JC's disappointment and hatred so badly!

Ooooooh, wait what happens if I'll think that Justified was a better effort? Do I get stoned for it, and not in a good way?
Re:
I guess so. A proper show of respect and deification that will keep you from purporting the EEEEEVIL of JC's leaked songs.
what happens if I'll think that Justified was a better effort?
Baby, I'm not EVEN gonna touch that. Whoo.

it's now 8am the next morning, and frankly, I'm getting frostbite in places I never knew possible. I sure wish he'd hurry it up a little.
Re:
And never worry about that frostbite! I hear it's toasty-warm in Bad JC Fangirl Hell.

I'm out of the loop, yo. I've seen nothing but reactions to whateverthefuck someone is saying. Glad that person isn't on my fl.
I bought a fumanskeeto hat a couple of years ago - doesn't supporting Chris' failing clothing company entitle me to things like free downloads? ;D
Re:
Personally, I'm still waiting for my Celebrity Tour DVD which was the guaranteed return for paying actual money to sit through On the Line.

But honestly, what disappoints me about this is that so few people want to savor the anticipation with me. I'm disappointed that I won't get to share this with so many of my friends here because they'll have already heard the album. And while it's certainly their prerogative, I can't change the fact that it makes me sad.
Re:
I guess what I'm trying to say is, no, you can't help feeling disappointed. But fandom meets different needs for different folks, and I can't see how making other people feel like they're crappy fans is going to help *anybody* enjoy JC's album more.
Besides, everybody waiting until the same day to listen to a physical copy of the album isn't a feasible plan in a fandom like this -- the release date is waaaaaay later for folks who don't live in North America. If we all held on to share the special moment together, we'd be waiting at least another month, yo!
