"I love you like a fat kid loves cake." Chris grins as he says it, and JC laughs. Justin starts doing the whole damn song, rapping away like he'd never do in public. He bounces on the couch. Lance starts laughing at Justin and when Justin just keeps going Lance collapses into Justin's lap, tears coming out of his eyes.

Joey says, "Cake. Man, what kind of cake? Do you think the fat kid has a preference?"

Chris says, "He likes JC cake."

JC stands up by the couch where Justin and Lance are and shoves Lance's butt. He sings, "I am thirty-two flavors and then some."

It was for circusgirl's birthday so it's by me. Yes. And fuck, I keep missing the fics where I haven't changed the email addy to reflect that she wrote it, but I think it's mostly done now. (Since she is not the sakeene addy anymore for her fic.)

Birthday fic! For her!

Also, the birthday fic thing throws out the other easy way to tell: when I write, she always betas and I always thank, when she writes, she has me beta and thanks me. :) Except for those damn birthday stories where you can't do that!

I never posted that story to the lj or shinyandnew which is I've never worried that it got no feedback so I'm surprised anyone even liked it besides her. So, yay! and thank you!

And dude, the story's adorable. I love me some sad, melancholy stuff that makes me cry and ache, but I also adore, love, delight in stories that have lots and lots of fun tumbly group interaction, and this has that! They're all so happy and funny together, and hey, I don't complain about the sexy Chris-and-JC touching. mmmmmm.
