I thought I was the ONLY PERSON IN FANDOM to not like the new lambporn pictures, but fortunately Incredulity seems to feel the same way. Whew. For a moment there, I thought I was an unnatural freak or something. I never like their cheesecake shots.

Anyhow! Dinner with the posse last night was excellent, despite split tables and a piece of plastic in silvrsolace's beef donburi, because that just meant she got her food free and gratis ice cream for our table. We profit off her pain, whoo-hoo!

I actually flinched and closed the screen when I looked at the Lance pictures and I shifted uncomfortably whilst viewing the Justin ones, because he looked so uncomfortable. Or, if he wasn't, he needs to work on his sexy pose.

Blech, to both sets. They can both do better. There's this thing called subtlety...it's actually sexier than beefcake.

Chiming in to agree that the beefcake poses are more unnerving than sexy. The Lance ones in particular really creep me out. His eyes look so dead or flat or something, and I want to offer Justin a towel and a glass of water because he looks so sweaty and thirsty.

Dude, yes. neverbeen2spain and I were having a conversation about this right before I read this post -- and the fact that the smarmy shadow of Lou looms over pics like Justin ones came up there, too. Very true (and very annoying).

And, putting Lou and other quasi-pedophiles aside for a minute, I agree that it doesn't matter how high you raise the flesh quotient in a picture, it's still going make the viewer want to cover their eyes and run away if the subject looks like he/she wants to be anywhere but oiled up and in front of a camera. (Of course, as LJ has shown, that's clearly that's not the case with all viewers but...you know, over-generalization is my friend.)
