do they have krusty partially gelatinated non-dairy gum-based beverages?
I wish it would rain. That's one of the reasons I've always loved living here -- it's been something like ten years since our water reservoirs dipped down to DON'T WATER YOUR FLOWERS!! level. Meh.
Anyhow! There are interesting things on the ol' friendslist today. *nsync haiku from
strandia, assorted Tims from
glockgal, and an article on Justin's McDonald's deal from
liz_w.
My favourite part of the article is the suits' dithering over Justin's popularity quotient. "Mr. Timberlake's participation could be polarizing," worry the suits. To which I give a big ol' Nelson Muntz HAH-ha! Because, really, I'm sure that millions of Americans will see their hated boybander shilling burgers and suddenly up and decide they can no longer stomach their Big Macs, right? Ffff. McDonald's could show Justin prancing down the street dressed as the damn clown and reiterating that he actually prefers Wendy's, and people would still keep buying food there, for heaven's sake.
Incidentally, American McDonald's tastes different from Canadian McDonald's. Just thought you'd like to know. *g*
I [heart] Navia beyond all reason.
And now,
Pleased? You betcha!

I'm inclined to say that the American versions taste better, but that only holds true for breakfast items. Because we don't get biscuits up here, man. It's a neverending point of bitterness in my life.
Really, they're both kind of equal in their friedness.

No steak in Germany -- gotcha. I like knowing things like that, so thank you! *g*

My favorite McDonald's are Indian McDonald's. They use mutton and chicken instead of beef and pork. The Big Mac is the Maharaja Mac, and they've got a McAloo Tikki Burger. You do not get much cooler than that. Also, I normally don't care for veggie burgers (and I've tried "a lot"), but McDonald's veggie burger is sooo good. They've got the old-school apple pies there, too, the fried kind that they've replaced with baked in the U.S. Yum.

This *so* sounds like the setup for a Pulp Fiction parody.
