I'm not, like, ethically opposed to eating "pet" animals, but I can't get over a distate for the idea of what their meat would taste like. *shudder*

I agree about the (perceived) taste of pets' meat. Especially cats. No cat has ever looked remotely edible to me. Just, no. On the other hand, snakes look disgusting but taste ok. Randomly, I'm against calling a snake-cat feast "dragon-tiger". Ewww.

It's the idea of the tough, gamey sinew in cats and dogs that squicks me. Ick. Although it's good to know that dog tastes nondescript. *g*
