bossymarmalade: blue eye with lashes of red flower petals (smart)

through all the killing and skin-eating, somehow we forgot the *love*

Work is actually not as crazy as I feared it would be. And the Wee Sister has decided to take me to see "28 Days Later" tonight, which promises to be...fun? I'm not sure that's the word. She's seen it and said she considered taking a knife to bed after for protection. That sounds like my kind of movie!

The "ask my character anything" meme is fantastic. I love reading everybody else's answers and have been asking questions like a mad fool. Please, y'all -- feel free to ask my characters stuff too! Even mean questions. *g*

Speaking of mean, there's the Britney Underground. Although I do agree with some of the basic sentiment about what Britney's popularity does on a social level, lots of these are really disturbing. That level of hatred is uncalled for, man. They're probably the same kind of people who pelt bottles at a guy doing a benefit concert.

I loved 28 Days Later on a trippy level. I hope you enjoy it, as well!

I did! It was even funner because I got to yell at a middle-aged couple behind us who were talking nonstop and fucking giggling and shit. And people think *teenagers* are the bane of society! *g*

Not to mention the fact that New Yorkers deface everyone lucky ( or unlucky) enough to be immortalized on a subway ad. It's just the way it goes. New born babies aren't even spared.

*shudder* That's creepy. And some of those posters -- like, the ones that said, "Wave bye-bye, Britney" sent chills through me, man. Frightening.

It was indeed! I enjoyed it quite a lot, although I couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor Londoners whose daily commute was messed up by the filming. *g*

I wish my friendlist was still into the meme, but unfortunately it seemed to die a fairly quick death.

It seems sort of like one of those memes everybody likes, but is tentative about. Ahhhh, well.

Well, it's like...work. Y'know, you have to go back and read someone's body of work, and then you have to make sure to ask questions that don't offend or show your misunderstanding of said work, and if you're doing it in turn you have to either remember everything you wrote or actually find links, and...yeah. :)

For JC in "a person of simple tastes": What are some of your other unconfirmed suspicions?

Oh, dude -- there's lots of things. Like, I think there've been times when Chris told me my pants look good, but he didn't really mean it and I think actually he was just pissing around because I kept catching him giggling to himself when we went out and I wore them. That's no good, man. And, um...there was this one time, when Tony gave me this joint and it didn't do anything except make me sleepy and I think he gave me his crappy pot on purpose because his joint seemed like the good stuff, and oh, there was this time? When I was with this girl who was interning at MTV and deejaying at a club in New York, and she was cool and all and just beautiful, skin like coffee and cream, but all she talked about was spinning and the tracks she was producing and I don't think she even knew my name, and that wasn't cool at all. She sure was pretty, though, and she gave me a really nice bracelet, so maybe it wasn't all bad.

Oh, honey, if Chris can't appreciate your pants, that's his problem, man, not yours.

You know, sweetheart, you're so right! I mean, for a guy who ran a clothing company (although the less said about that the better, oops) he really isn't very adventurous when it comes to clothes. My pants look good on me! Everybody says so! Yeah!
