is the alien santa claus?
Tomorrow I'm going back to work. It'll actually be kind of nice, because two weeks of not being able to read or anything were wearing pretty thin.
Randomly, I was watching the "Fighter" video the other day and my mother remarked that Christina reminded her of Nymphadora Tonks. Now that's a fucked-up au waiting to happen, man.
And to conclude, that meme going around right now is the kind that's right up my proverbial alley. Ask any of my characters a question -- popslash, sundries, comicfic, homicide, anything. I love this kind of stuff.

What were you thinking, when the urge came upon you? Where did you think it would go, with someone like him?

For Miss Elliot, "brains go great with aquavit": If given the chance, would you hire Justin again?
(And maaaaan, Maggie -- I said it before, but I'm so sorry you've been so sick. You deserve a vacation or something.)

Now, for Chris and Miss Elliot!

Y'know, the funny thing about that is they were easier to live with. Because, like -- they knew I knew, and I knew they'd finally done it, and it was a huge relief for all of us because they didn't have to sneak around anymore. On the other hand, it kind of sucked because who wants to be around a couple of yonks who're attached at the mouth all the time?
Unless you mean, "what were they like when they came waltzing back in the morning tentatively holding hands and with shining satiated faces and gentle loving voices that practically caressed each other?" Because the answer to that would be, fucking annoying.

You damn well bet I would! That boy cleaned yard like a professional and he held the bowl real steady when I needed to cut the chicken neck and collect the blood. You can't find help like that easy around these parts.
And he wasn't too hard on the eyes, if you know what I mean!

What the heck is Emma thinking?

I feel that both he and I have earned the right to make our own decisions as two consenting adults. Anybody who wants to point the finger needs to ask the sainted Charles Xavier all about teacher-student relationships and the...appropriateness thereof.

Nice dodge, Frosty!

Why Logan?

Plus, y'know, I like to think that I'm open to new possibilites. Considering all his past lovers, Logan comes highly...uh...recommended, I guess. And I wasn't really having that much luck with the ladies at that point. And, well -- vacation sex, y'know?
Or, no. Scratch all that. It was heatstroke. *g*

raw!JC: Did you ever talk to Justin about Chris and the relationships y'all had?
stars hollow!Justin: Come on, you emailed Rory, right? 'Cause she's in Yale now and single, I hear....
Also? Maggie! I'm so glad you're back. I miss you and everything's very off when you're not around. Glad you're feeling better.

And now, answers!

If I know Chris, fucker landed on his feet somewhere or the other. He was too damn sneaky to get chopped in gunfire like that, y'know? Chris is the type who can smell the end coming and who's smart enough to get out.
More power to him, too. I always did see myself taking over the business and the idea of offing him to do it didn't make me too happy. I mean, I would've done it, but I wouldn't have liked it.
--
No, no no. Chris and me was...it was something, and it was all ours. What he and Justin had was theirs, and I wouldn't ask about it. I wouldn't want Justin asking about me and Chris, either, although I can tell he wants to, sometimes. But the less we all know about each other together, the better.
--
Holy shit, is she really? I kind of, um, didn't bother e-mailing her because, y'know, Britney and everything and I figured Rory found a boyfriend and stuff. Hey, it's not like she e-mailed me either! Well, she sent me a list of books she thought I'd like, and I have read a few of them, but...damn. I need to write her. Yale, huh? Damn.
*runs off to e-mail Rory*

And ooooh, I do find smuggler!aj endlessly fascinating. Nice peek into his psyche, there.

salt bitter sweet-Chris (http://boudicca.com/unaware/sbs.html): Why did you bring over the first bowl of oatmeal?
hope-Lance (http://boudicca.com/unaware/hope.html): Why Hope, BC and what did you do when you got there?
one true-Justin (http://boudicca.com/unaware/onetrue.html): Well then, who do you call after you put the shirts away in the closet?

But hey, sappy works with Justin. After we ate we went for another walk and he bought some stupid fridge magnet for Chris. Then we drove for a bit, parked on the side of the highway, hiked up a hill until we found this little ice-cold creek and some trees and we spread a blanket on the pine needles and grass and -- well, I don't think I'll get into it here. *g*
