My reaction to learning that Lance plans to pull a Cruel Intentions on The Great Gatsby would be similar to the one I had upon watching the evening wear segment on Miss Dog America last night, only I don't know chootoy's new work number so calling her up and screaming like Homer suffering from night terrors is out of the question.

Instead, I will look at the pretty picture of Scott and Jean as drawn by the Wee Sister, which now resides on my office wall in the company of Helena ravishing Dick, Ororo watering her plants, and Constantine telling me to piss off while Chas loiters nervously in the background. Mmmmm. Must raid more of her Batclan-drawings when I go home this evening.

Work was busy in that stupid way where you're constantly answering the phone or e-mails and yet feel like you've accomplished nothing. I think this is a sign that I should knock off early.

Paris Hilton? If she is in any way attached to the project it is going to suck beyond the telling of it--not that a hip remake of The Great Gatsby won't suck anyway--but Paris? Please let this be a case of him talking about a project before all the details are really worked out.
