Outside smells like barbecue. There are no restaurants around here that cook barbecue.
I'm going to try not to think about that one too much.
So here is the funny Chris moment o' the day:
But in the Quiet by Katie
This fic is affectionate and funny and makes me calm and happy, because I think it's one of Katie's best Timbertrick portrayals--they're so cosy with each other and know each other so well that they can fill in the silences and have them not be awkward in the slightest. It's wonderful. *purrs*

But in the Quiet by Katie
So Justin listens to Chris talk, watches him as he hops around the room, not so regular as pacing, but not completely random, either. He's complaining about the interview he and Lance did that morning, a radio station, obnoxious dj, teenagers embarrassing themselves, the usual, but Chris makes it funny. Chris's words are tiny and he flings them around like playing darts, whizzing through the air fast enough to make you dizzy. Justin's seen people duck from Chris's words, afraid they'll get hit, but Justin knows there's always careful aim.
Finally, Chris turns his attention back to Justin. "Dude, he's all curled up on the couch with his little notebook and pen. It's like JC, but awake."
Justin raises his middle finger and Chris just laughs, glances down at his shoes.
"No, Joey, I don't have any sympathy for him. You wouldn't either if you had to live with the brat." Chris looks up at Justin. "Joey feels bad for you."
Justin folds his fingers against his palm twice in a wave and then points at the phone.
Chris blinks. "J, man, I'm not telling Joey that. You sick fuck. I like his mom."
