"la la la dee-dum," dom hummed. elijah ignored him. it had been cute, in
an abstractly musical kind of way, in the beginning--but now he was
starting to think that dom just wanted attention and wanted to go about it
in a non-obvious way.

so instead of giggling or asking or making up more "la-dee-da" verses,
elijah leaned over and bit dom's arm, right in that soft spot running up
the back halfway between elbow and shoulder.

"oi," dom said, jerking a bit, then forcing himself to stay still. elijah
knew he would. dom liked to think he was stoic about certain things, like
getting randomly bitten.

elijah worked his teeth on the skin, the sleeve-hem of dom's t-shirt
brushing and scraping his nose as he gnawed. it felt good, like snow when
it had that slight crust on it that scratched instead of being powdery.
he liked things that scratched.

he hadn't even realized he'd made a noise until dom reached around to
disengage him, grabbing the hair just above elijah's ear and tugging him
away.

"hell of a way to get my attention," dom grinned. he totally
misunderstood when elijah laughed in disbelief, and kissed him anyway.

I greatly admire your use of body language, because they really don't say much but it feels like they are. There's something so jarring about the image of Elijah biting flesh through the sleeve and some sort of glorious metaphor in how Dom interprets that.

And the adoration is mutual, baby, because I am SO IN LOVE with my new icon set it's unbelievable. I just keep opening my journal and scrolling back and forth to look at them. I even changed the whole color scheme from the red-themed one I've had ever since I got this journal, because it couldn't clash with Dom, dammit!
