So we were listening to The Chipmunk Adventure on the drive in to work (shut up) and The Wee Sister mentions that The Chipettes sound a lot like Britney.

And y'know, they do.

yes, Britney (though I think she spells it differently), Jeannette, and Eleanor. Britney is the female lead and Alvin's girlfriend/competitor.

And, no shame, dude, no shame. That is one of my all-time favorite movies and MY wee sister and I have the soundtrack and greatly enjoy singing it. Long live the Girls of Rock and Roll.

aaahahhaha! Justin is SO Alvin, and Joey would actually make me like Theodore. Lance and Simon I both love, so that one's perfect. ^_^

And maybe JC should be Dave? He seems too fretful to be Chris. Chris can be their itinerant crazy wild mother who lives in a tree in the woods, if I remember correctly.

What you need to do is write this whole scenario. Like, maybe they decide to make a Chipmunks movie and the boys decide to do it because they *love* the Chipmunks. And Justin demands to be Alvin, Lance carefully chooses to be Simon, Joey gets roped into being Theo, Chris doesn't care as long as he gets to terrorize someone on the set, and everyone immediately decides that JC's Dave because he's all dadly and frazzled all the time.
