Yeah, I found that out real quick last year. Used to read all the journals of those 'holier-than-you-peons' BNFs and come away either feeling small and unworthy, or pissed off beyond belief.

So, I stopped reading them. I figured that with my luck, they'd implode from their own self-importance soon enough and I can just laugh from the sidelines.
