chootoy, who is going slowly bonkers if I judge the state of her e-mails correctly. However, this means I can perhaps get caught up on feedbacking duties, which have been largely remiss.

Also, I've gone through everything I recced out of DWNOGA and am pleased to see a lot of names I don't know, because that means I can go explore new webpages and new fic that I wouldn't otherwise have come across. Also, I located some of my favourite writers and found that their fic was usually pairings I don't read, which explains why I...uh...didn't read them. I mean, I don't usually read Trickyfish or Bassez, but if I tried to avoid those I would've ended up with, like, a total of eight fics to read, wouldn't I? *g*

As for the SeSa kerfuffle (the new dance craze that's sweeping the nation!)--I honestly think that people like what they like, regardless of who wrote it. Plus, this isn't really the perfect situation to assess the validity of the whole "recs without reps" thing, is it? If we were actually doing that, everybody would write whatever pairing they wanted in whatever situation and style they wanted. God knows I wouldn't write JoeC if I wanted to bring my A-game. I'm lucky I even got mine done on time, although I misspelled Bettie Page's name (d'oh!) and whined endlessly to a few RL unfortunates about lack of inspiration.

Anyhow. Point is, people should stop writing good Teerlove, because that makes me nervous. Plus, although Trickyfish is mentioned in Lilo and Stitch, TrickC is mentioned in The Two Towers, and I'd go with Gollum. After all, he and Justin have the same fingers, so, yes.
