-- I liked the goatee. But then, I like all of them and their various permutations of facial hair (stubbly JC is one of the times I find him hot, man), so that's no surprise. JC seemed pleasantly stoned, and I may have meeped in delight when he told Nelly to "come get his." Because, yes.

-- Nelly was great and was so adorable hanging onto Steven Tyler during the Run DMC tribute. Justin's arrangement of CMAR was interesting and very cool, especially when he counted "three, four" to the change.

-- Someday I hope to wake up and find that Creed has stopped.

-- Did Jup actually win anything? I started watching Birds of Prey once he finished performing, so I'm not sure.

No, he wasn't up for any awards. And I, too, have no problems with all their facial hair. If Justin wants angry facial hair to go along with his angry performance, so be it. I wanted him to brandish a knife or something to make it all complete, but alas.

Also, weighing in on the facial hair issue: Justin and Lance look like they have some kind of horrible glittery mange. They need to shave and be the girls they are. It's just not workin'.

JC, however, is pretty whatever his level of grooming. It's a gift. He smiles or sings and you stop noticing.

Any votes on how much past acid went into his current mellow gaze?
