you take the abandoned roller disco
Not only is she an absolute darling for making me this icon (Rory! Justin! Eeeeee!!!), but she's a baby. I find that so sweet.
And so,
village, here's a birthday prezzie for you. You wanted clubbing and you wanted Timbertrick, and this is sort of a cracked-out version of both.
Apologies to all the "venues" I've hijacked.
"What the hell kind of name is "stubbleglitter" for a club?" Justin squinted against the shimmery glimmer of mirrors, everywhere, little cubes of them all over the walls and encrusing the huge disco ball hanging from the ceiling. Chris elbowed him, hard, already dancing a little to the thumping music.
"Simpsons ref, man," Chris said, sliding over to the bar and dragging Justin with him. "Two Malibus and Cokes," he told the bartender, elbowing Justin again as a pre-emptive gesture.
"Stupidest drink on earth," Justin grunted, sliding his fingers along the bar. Glitter stuck to his fingertips, slippery slidy and magnetic, refusing to budge even when Justin scraped his fingers along his zippered shirt. He was staring at the silver streak down his chest when Chris bumped him with the drink. Justin could smell the sweet cola and coconut as he wrapped his fingers around the glass.
"Drink up!" Chris laughed, shaking his head, and glitter falling everywhere.
