Oh I love this! I like Sulu and Uhura's BFFness (I liked that in old TOS fics about them too), and they're both so... eccentric? I guess? that this totally fits my image of them. (I guess Sulu is more "eccentric" than Uhura, but my point is that they both have varied and unique talents and interests!)
