Very poor timing. I think all families have this internal clockwork mechanism that builds up to explode specifically at inconvenient o'clock. But hey, cleared-air, and also cake (which I Googled, and was confronted with a zillion pictures of bright pink cakes with Barbie dolls on them. I am guessing that this is not in fact the princess cake that you ate)!
