and they gave me this spiffy nerd ensemble, too
So
jae_w noticed that I was falling down on the JC recs and kindly offered to help me along by bolstering my recs list while I find more fics. Here's the first one; I read it too, and agree perfectly with everything she says:
I took that Sorting Hat quiz and ended up with Ravenclaw (84), Hufflepuff (73), Gryffindor (61) and Slytherin (38). I always thought I would be a Hufflepuff, really, but I'm not complaining about being a Ravenclaw. Just narrowly.

Faster, Further bylilysaid: If for no other reason than this sentence: "JC likes to pretend he's somewhere else when things are uncomfortable, and Chris likes to make other people uncomfortable, so JC ends up staring into the distance more often than not when they're together."
*nsync on the lam! JC gets hard at the prospect of robbing laundromats, and has to be stopped from sucking guys off so he can steal their wallets. In the face of trouble, he's calm, and he likes it, and he's not at all kittenish. Also, he's very private in this – he keeps his own counsel in a way that really works for me, and that you don't see in a lot of stories.
It's an intriguing side of JC for me, that privacy, and one that rings true, and I'm always happy to see a story that touches on
it. There's a little too much musing on the evil that is the Cry Me A River video for my taste, and this version of Justin isn't one that goes down easy, but I really enjoyed this story's take on JC.
